Selling property in Pakistan while you live abroad

You can sell without travelling, but only through a power of attorney that says so in plain words, and only to a buyer who has been checked.
The paper
The power of attorney must name the property and give the power to sell and to receive the money. A general power is often refused at the registry.
The buyer
Ask for the buyer’s identity card and have your advocate check the land record before any advance changes hands.
