A power of attorney is only as good as its wording. Most of the ones that fail at the registry or in court fail for the same three reasons.

Name the matter

Say which property, which court case or which bank account. “All my affairs” is often refused.

Name the powers

To file, to appear, to receive money, to sell. Each one has to be written; none is assumed.

Get it attested where you live

At a Pakistani mission, with your thumb impression and two witnesses. Photos of the pages are enough for your advocate to check the draft first.
